The woman to the left of the sluice run, wearing a black skirt and coat with light trim is Lady Minto. To her left is the Earl. The man in the centre of the photograph holding the gold pan may be C. M. Woodworth. Three of the men in the photograph are North West Mounted Police officers (NWMP) The scene was shot at J. D. McGillivray's mine.
